We are finishing our unit about the U. S. Government. We have learned about the three levels and the three branches at each level. We have also learned that we have a representative democracy instead of a direct democracy like in ancient Greece.

We have learned that nouns can name a person, place, thing, or idea. Write a sentence using at least two nouns.

We have been learning about habitats located throughout different regions of Georgia. We have learned about the mountains, rivers and streams, swamps, marshes, the coast, and ocean. If you could visit one of these habitats, which one would you choose and why?

Setting Sail with Goals for Third Grade
The start of a new school year is a good time to set goals for ourselves. As your teacher, one of my goals is to work hard everyday to help you learn and grow in a safe and happy classroom.
